Learn the ropes from our fully qualified instructors! A session with an expert is the quickest way to gain the skills and understanding you need to make the most out of our climbing centre. You’ll be taught everything you need to get you started with ropes and on the walls.
What’s Involved?
Introduction To Rope Climbing is a 2 part course costing £100 for 3 hours x 2 sessions on a Friday evening. This is for rope climbing beginners who want to learn how to use the auto belay devices or to top rope climb safely. You will learn all the skills to get you started on your rope climbing journey. Please note this course if for age 14 and over only. Junior climbers age 14-17 will require an additional step to climb unsupervised in the centre. More information is available from reception.
Advanced Rope Climbing is the next step for those proficient in top rope climbing. Book this course to master lead climbing. To undertake this course you must be already signed off to climb top rope and auto belay in our centre, confidently climbing at F6A or above and be able to effortlessly and correctly belay another climber. This is also a 2 part course costing £100.
